The French Coopers Federation's partnerships :

The French coopers network lives in a complexe crossing between the most beautifull and wellknown french forests  and the most worldfamous vineyards...

In this context, to achieve the french coopers' commitments : tradition, inovation, technicity and food-safety for the aging of the best brandys and wines, the French Coopers Federation develops several partnerships... :

Wine competition aged in barrels

In the heart of the most beautiful European oak forests, on the edge of the forest of Tronçais, for the first time, an international competition will bring together and select the best wines matured in oak barrels.   Alliances du Monde® will take place  in the Cistercian Abbey of Noirlac, one of the most beautiful monastic ensembles of France, located at the crossroads of the provinces (before 1790) Berry, Bourbonnais, Nivernais and Orleans in the Cher department, region Centre.

Its ambition is therefore to highlight the quality of wines, which benefit from the best wine/oak expression by attributing, each year, medals that are reliable and thus representative.

IFV - French Instute of vineyards and wines

On one hand, it's a technical partnership linked the French Coopers Federation and the IFW through a specific national working group "Wood-Wine".

On the other hand, it's a communication partnershipe during the Mondiavit-Vinitech meeting 2012 the 28th of october in 2012 about "the aging of wines in oak barrels : how to manage the sanitary and organoleptic quality".
